Michael has been with the firm since joining from school as a trainee in 1995 and never looked back, growing within the firm to his current position as Senior Manager. He is now responsible for his own client portfolio. Whilst happy to tackle any challenge, Michael relishes helping clients through the process of becoming a Limited Company and helping clients develop book-keeping & IT skills as businesses grow. He is also involved in a growing number of Service Charge certification assignments.
Michael lives locally with his wife, their un-regal Corgi, Magi, and a collection of cats. Michael is an enthusiastic (if not necessarily skilled) DIYer, a long time Manchester City follower and an eager climbing frame to his two grand-children.
Clare is Audit Manager for the Practice with overall responsibility for client audits.
Clare joined the firm in 2000, qualifying with ACCA in 2004. Clare also undertakes preparation of self-assessment tax returns, company and partnership accounts along with book-keeping.
Clare lives on the outskirts of Sudbury with her Husband and 2 Daughters and enjoys travelling, home improvement, all things Disney and spending time with family and friends. Family is key to Clare and she will always try to blend or share her interests with those close to her.
Kimberley joined Moore Green in 2011 and completed her studies in 2016 achieving her ACCA qualification. She undertakes a variety of work including accounts, tax and VAT for corporate and sole trade clients. Kimberley’s clients include property investment companies, medical professionals and small businesses.
In her spare time Kimberley likes to stay active and occasionally joins the local park run.
Julie joined the practice in 1990, qualified in 2004, and is now a fellow member of the Institute of Charted Certified Accountants. Her client portfolio includes subcontractors, partnerships, companies, charities, and solicitors.
In her spare time, Julie is a prominent figure in local scouting having recently been appointed as the District Explorer Scout Commissioner. She is also a County Archery Assessor and local training adviser. Julie is also involved with The Royal British Legion, Project 7, and Sudbury Festival. Her other interests include sailing and powerboating. She is an avid Doctor Who fan and has a large collection of merchandise and memorabilia.
Amyjoined Moore Green in 2003, fresh from college. She has since completed the AAT and ACCA qualifications, all whilst working in the practice and gaining experience. She has progressed within the practice and now works as a manager for Nick Farr, one of the partners. She works on a wide range of clients and has experience in personal tax, partnership tax and accounts, and company accounts. She is also well versed in bookkeeping requirements, and has an excellent knowledge of many of the cloud-based software options available to businesses these days.
Amy live in Ipswich with her partner and daughter. She is rather ‘animal-mad’ and has had many pets over the years – cats, a tortoise and an African Pygmy Hedgehog to name a few!
Amber joined the practice in 2015 straight from sixth form, and qualified as an Accountant with ACCA in 2019. She has a varied range of clients that include agricultural businesses, property developers, construction contractors and haulage contractors amongst many more.
In Amber’s spare time she enjoys going to the gym and socialising with friends and family. She also enjoy long country walks with her two Labradors.
Zoe joined Moore Green in 2008 and completed the AAT qualification and ACCA examinations after some years in the insurance industry. She supports a range of clients including agricultural, consultancy, manufacturing, and construction, offering support ranging from bookkeeping, personal tax, and sole trader, partnership and company accounts.
Zoe lives in Sudbury and supports her parents with their farm, helping to care for a small number of rare breed sheep and cattle. She also enjoys yoga, tennis and skiing, active and relaxing holidays in the UK and abroad, socialising with friends and family and learning new creative skills.
Joanne has been with Moore Green since 2010. She studied BSc (Hons) Environmental Health at Kings College London and worked for 10 years as an Environmental Health Officer. Joanne moved into Local Government management and gained a PGDip in Business Management from ARU. Joanne is responsible for the day-to-day internal financial management at Moore Green and produces all the facts and figures when needed.
In her spare time Joanne can be found on the touch lines or boundary ropes of North Essex/Suffolk cheering on her sports mad son or proudly watching her daughter in her many theatrical and dance shows. She also helped to regenerate and now coordinates the junior section of West Bergholt Cricket Club which now has over 200 junior members.
Sarah joined the Practice in 2017. Her background is in medical practice management, nursing and teaching, and so she has enjoyed adapting these skills into a different environment. Her responsibilities in the practice include supporting the partners with the Practice development and management including strategic thinking, HR, Health and Safety, Buildings, Projects.
When not at Moore Green, Sarah enjoys playing bridge with her husband at Club and County level, is Chair of the bridge club, gets involved directing the local village pantomime, works for her local Catholic church, and enjoys gardening, cooking, reading and the family pets, a Golden Retriever, a West Highland Terrier, and a ginger cat!
